When the City of Fife inherited a parcel of land they chose to create a park that would feature the history of Fife & the Puyallup Valley through educational signage and artwork. Working with BCRA, Juel Lugo & Bethany Maines worked on every facet of the design – from interfacing with Fife Council Members, to the illustration of blackberry brambles that set the tone for the entire design, historical research, copywriting, directing a photo shoot at the Fife Historical Museum, and ultimately, the design of educational panels featured within the park itself.
